Environmental Sustainability
Innovations and a modern approach to reduce the environmental footprint.

For Castaloop, environmental sustainability represents a responsible interaction with the environment to avoid depletion or degradation of natural resources and allow for long-term environmental quality.

The practice of efficient environmental sustainability ensures that today’s industries are serviced without compromising the ability for future generations to meet their continued evolution in harmony with the environment.

This is perhaps easier said than done. Best practices can rapidly become obsolete as researchers constantly uncover possible deficiencies in former best practices; staying current while promptly deciphering between fact and fad are a key focus area for Castaloop.

Yesterday’s best intentions should be continuously challenged to accurately reflect today’s realities and thereby, ultimately, better shape tomorrow.

ISPS
The International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code is an amendment to the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) Convention (1974/1988) on minimum security arrangements for ships, ports and government agencies. Having come into force in 2004, it prescribes responsibilities to governments, shipping companies, shipboard personnel, and port/facility personnel to detect security threats and take preventative measures against security incidents affecting ships or port facilities used in international trade and governs Castaloop’s course of action in all we undertake.

Health & Safety of Employees
Operational sustainability commences with protecting the men and women that service you first.

The difference we produce for our customers and what best distinguishes us above all else are the men and women that set out to honor our contracts and agreements day in and day out.

The integrity of their health and safety is non-negotiable. As we set out to go to work at the beginning of each day, our accomplishment can only be realized if we return at the end in the same condition we started.

This, above all else, is priority number one.

It’s not a question of only following accreditations and certifications; rather, it needs to be understood by all:

No operation or situation is ever to have priority over the health and safety of our staff, partners and subcontractors.
